NEW ZEALAND BUTTER.
OPINION OF A LONDON FIRM.
London, December 7,
H. Trkngrouse and Co., provision merchants, Tooley-street, who have succeeded in Belling New Zealand butter at £6 2s, say the market could absorb double the quantity of the finest colonial butter. They declare the standard of quality set) up by the merchants is unfair, and attribute the recent low pricee to carrying butter in the same chamber as game and iish.
