CRICKET.

The cricket matches in the senior. Junior,' and second junior classes, which were commenced lasb Saturday week, will be resumed to-morrow. Both senior matches between Auckland and Sb. Mary's and Gordon and Parnell should prove very interesting, and judging by the fine weather we have had lately, some tall scoring may be expected. Auckland have nine wickets down for 101; O'Brien and Brabazon, 9to their credit are the two nob oub3. Parnell have only lost 2 wickets for 170, and should register a big score before the tenth wicket falls. I. Mills with 81 and W. Lawson 39 will continue theit innings, -and ib will be interesting to note whether the former is to be the firsb Aueklander to make the century of the season. Several of bhe junior mabches are also exciting much interest, the Auckland 11.Grammar School contest especially, Iα the second junior championship, the Belmont, instead of winning their match againsb Surrey by default as they could have done, have generously agreed to give Surrey a show by playing the game tomorrow. Belmont v. Surbey-—Surrey : Whafcford (capb.), Pardington, Walters, Hall*! Water house, Moody, Sly field, Bach, Currie, Midgley. Emergencies : Hollingworbh, Bach.
