Thames, this day. May QuEEtf.— Cleaning up and retorting for the fortnight took place to-day for the remunerative yield of 2240z gold from 120 loads quartz.as against 1640z sdwt from 110 loads for the previous fortnight. Mining continues very dull, and no quotations have been issued by the brokers for three or four days.
