(BY TEI.EGKAr.II. — PRESS ASSOCIATION.)
Wellington, this day. A number of valuable sheep and a pedigree bull and heifer (Ayrshires) arrived here by the Doric yesterday. The sheep comprised Lincolns, South Downs, Hampshire Downs, and Gotswolds. Twenty of them are consighen to John Kayner, the well known sheep breeder of Wairarapa, seventeen to the Australian Land Company, eleven to Curtis Russell of Napier, and four to Wilson of Waverley. Rayner's shipment is a valuable one, as much as one hundred guineas each having been given for the majority. Three of the sheep died on the voyage out, but the remainder are in splendid condition. The cattle have been imported by McFarlane, the well known Southern farmer.
