BIGAMY IN FOREIGN COUNTRIES. London, October 18. The Privy Council has had fully before it the Imperial Act under which the conviction of the Rev. Dr. McLeod in Sydney to three years' imprisonment for bigamy was quashed, and the Council expresses the opinion that no jurisdiction lies where the bigamy was committed in a foreign country.
