ENGLAND AND THE COLONIES.
FEDERAL PARLIAMENT AN
ABSURDITY.
COMMERCIAL UNION IMPOS
SIBLE.
London, October 14. Mr Froude considers a Federal Parliament of the Empire is an absurdity and commercial union impossible. He supports the suggestion for periodical contests between members of the British race in industry, athletics and culture.
