BENEFIT FOOTBALL MATCH.
PARKELL V. SUBURBS. The lamentable death of Mr T. G. Sibbin has called forth expressions of regret amongst all followers of outdoor sports, and_ a general desire prevails tin: i> this feeling of sympathy should take a practical shape. The Rugby Union, which is always to tho fore in matters of this cert, leads the way onco more. As all patrons of loocball have expressed a strong desire to see another match between our two crack ter.ms, I'arnell and .Suburbs, and as the payers themselves i>ro also eager to try conclusions again, it has been decided that a match shall tako place at Potter'/? I'addock on Saturday WL-eic, September 19. A charge of one shilling will be matio at tho trates, and as this is to be devoted towards tho fund for tho benefit; of tho widow and orphans of i\lr Sibbin, an opportunity will thus be alTordcd tho public of witnessing a good match and at tho sanu tiino assisting a laudable object.
