The schoonor Norval is lyingr here windboimd. It is blowing a strong north-east breeze. Omaveke, this day.—Tho brigantino Stanley, from Auckland, arrived this morning. New Plymouth, this day.—Arrived, 3 a.m. : S.s. Takapuna, from Onehunga ; at 4.30 a.m., s.s. Gairloch, from Onehunga (both connected with oxpross). Wanganut, this day—Tho Tyser liner Maori King left at 3.30 this morning for London, viaGisborne and Lybtelton. During 84 hours' stay in the roadstead, she loaded 12,385 carcases mutton, 100 bales wool, 100 casks tallow, 9 casks pelb. The weather was fairly good all the time. It is blowing hard to-day, though it was a calm night. The loading operations are considered eminently satisfactory.
