The creditors of Mr T. W, Diacombo met this morning, when the Official Assignee explained that only £37 10s had been scheduled aa the value of fehe assets, the liability being £160. He believed thufc if realised tho result would be less than 4s 6d (gross) in the £. Ib was resolved to accept the offer of Mies Discotnbe of fls in the £. The Assignee said that as the meeting wa3 not sufficiently representative the motion would require confirmation at another meeting which he would call. The lady who sang the soprano solos in the cantata, "Joan of Arc," was Mr Pick. Her name was misprinted in our report. Professor Thomas took out a number of students to Mount Wellington to-day to etudy the geology of that mountain, which is, perhaps, the most remarkable volcanic cave on the Auckland isthmus. The successive eruptions which have occurred there are clearly marked in the scoria deposits composing the mountain. I'eople soon found oufc that they were getting the best ever offored in Auckland, as proved by the fact that tho sale of Arthur Nathan's Teas has doubled in six months. —(Advt.)
