Tine Greyraouth Harbour Board have knocked all the men off in consequence of one of tho section-holders nn tho grounds the railway passed over putting a substantial barricade across, preventing tho passago of locomotives. lie demands a heavy rental for the use of the ground. As there are about twenty six holders along tho same line, the Board is not prepared to deal with all, so declined to consede tho demands of ono, and have stopped the works.
