HAWKES BAY STEEPLECHASE MEETING.
J. B. Williamson took Yardman, Theorem, and Chance to Napier on Thursday last to take parb in the Hawke's Bay Steeplechase Meeting on Thursday, 25th inst. Theorem has been weighted at lOsb 41b in the Hurdle Race, and with this impost he should be hard to beat, but another horse well in is Caitiff, who ha 3 won several hurdle racesatKapier. Tauraekaitai.thotopv. sight, has a big reputation, and one of the three named may supply the winner. In the Steeplechase, Sentinel must havo a good chance wfth list 101b if he is taken down, and of the others I like Yardman and Darnley. The acceptances and general entries are duo on Tuesday next.
