S.S. TARAMUNG BELIEVED FOUNDERED.
Ss-dnet, this day. There is still no sign of the missing steamer Taramung, which left Newcastle a fortnight ago bound for Melbourne with coals, and it is believed that she foundered with till hands in the recent) heavy gale on the eastern coast of Australia. The Tararnunc, which was owned in Melbourne, was insured in the Taamanian Fire and Marine Insurance Office for £14,000. Her cargo, which consisted of 1,400 tons of coal, was uninsured.
