COLONIAL LABOUR CONGRESS.
IMPORTANT DEMANDS,
Melbourne, this day. The Labour Congress has resolved t° demand on behalf of wage earner 8 affected and threatened the immediate enactment by the various Parliaments of remedial legislation, such as to cover the performance of all factory work in registered factories, the institution of a full lien for wages due upon the work done, and the abolition of the contract system in Government contracts.
