The Ist of May promises to be a lively day in Paris, whatever it may be in the reeb of Europe. Revolutionists of every shade have agreed to participate in a great manifestation, which is to have for its object the limitation of the working day to eight hours. At Lyons the working people are preparing to make the day memorable. The Government has no apprehension of any disorder that cannot be dealt with, bub it ie feared that the comparative dulness of trade in Lille, Lyons, and other manufacturing centres may stimulate riotous demonstrations.
