"THE BEADS OF TASMER."
By Amelia E. Barr, Author of " Friend Olivia," etc.
An interesting story under tho above title Will be begun in the Star TO-MORROW (Wednesday). The scene is laid in the Highlands of Scotland, and among the incidents connected with the development of the plot is ono depicting an eviction from tbe estates of a Highland chief. Ono of the most attractive features In the plot is descriptive vicissitudes of tho courtship of the chief's heir, a Roman Catholic, with the daughter of a Free Kirk minister, and tho measures adopted by tho parents on both side 3to intervene. Altogether tho story is a very pleasant one, and will, wo believe, greatly intorost our readers.
