OUR GOLDFIELDS

New Moanataiari. —The mine manager reports that some distance back from the present face in the intermediate drive east, 200 feeb level, the lode suddenly turned off to the lefts, or the same course as the Reuben Parr reef on the 100 feet level. There is little change to report at the 100 foot level. The flat lead is much broken up, still gold is continually seen. The vertical lead, though small, shows dabs and colours of gold ab almost every breaking down. The general dirt from the stopes is shaping rather poorly at the battery. The amalgam on hand since clearing up is 183oz.

Junction.—The manager reports thab the crosscut is in 298 feet, and the country is of a bebfcer description. Another 50 feet should intersect the first reef.

Mountain Flower, — The manager reports that the lode is 9 inches to 1 foot in width. Colours of gold are seen in the leading stope. Freedom. — The manager reports that the lode at the intermediate level is about six inches in width afc the bottom of the winze, and havo shown colours of gold.

Red Mercury.—The manager wired today : "1001b of picked stona yesterday. Still good show."
