CHILDREN'S PARTY ON THE ORLANDO.
AtARC-K childrens's party is being given this afternoon on board the flagship Orlando. The party ia not a very formal affair. Each officer has invited his own friends, putting down bhe names of the elders and the number of children. The usual prefixes Miss or Mrs were omitted in the book very kindly lent our represenbabive. The quarter-deck, which has been convened into the " play ground," looks very bright and attractive. Games of all sorts were indulged in and an excellent Punch and Judy entertainment given. A ttig-of-war was one of the popular features. The tea was, however, the great feature. It was a tea for youth to dream of—cakes and good things of every sorb in the greatest profusion, and crackers with caps, and the hundred and ono things which children love. As has been stated, the prefixes are missing in many cases in the subjoined list of guests.
