TROUBLE THREATENING.
THE EUROPEAN SITUATION,
London, April 7. Reports of a disturbing nature are being received from St. Petersburg and other European capitals with reference to the European situation. Berlin, April 7. Russia is massing troops on the Polish-German frontier under the pretext of carrying out military manoeuvres on a large scale. The European situation is regarded in Beriin as threatening. St. Petersburg, April 3. The Russian press has been ordered to preserve strict silence with regard to the armaments and movements of troops.
