THE WANAKA.
ATTEMPT TO FLOAT HER

New Plymouth, this day. The Wanaka ia in much the same position as when she struck, and an attempt will be made to float her off the reef. The weather still holds fine, and ib is thought her injuries are not great. Divers are now inspecting Dhe damaged parts of the vessel. The steamer Norwich, which arrived here with a cargo of coals from Westport, has been detained to assist in the operations connected wich the floating of tho Wanaka from the rocks. Wellington, this day. The Union Company will send a plant to New Plymouth by a steamer to-night, for the purpose of getting the >Vanaka off.
