THE MILITARY OUT.

Brisbane, this day. In addition to arresting the men yesterday, the police took possession of the Unionist office at Barcaldine, and arrested the Strike Committee and the Secretary ot the Labourers' Union for conspiracy.

Colonel French takes 130 men with a field battery and a Gatling gun to the disturbed district.

The Secretary of the Labourers' Union is making inquiries at Perth whether the Government will be willing to assist 5,000 bush workers to take up land and form co-operative colonies.
