LATE SPORTING.

FORBURY TRAINING NOTES.

(by telegraph.—PßESS association.)

Dunedin, this day. Heavy rain fell last night, and interfered with this morning's work, and only halfpace gallops were performed. Of the Cup horses Hilda, Freedom, Crutchfield, and Prime Warden shaped well. Crackshot has a very big knee, and is considered to have no chance for the Cup. Occident and Assyrian King were to work later. Of tho others the best work was done by Cissy and Garibaldi.
