HOSPITAL INQUIRY.
At the meeting of the Charitable Aid Board yesterday a letter was received from Dr. MacGregor stating bhab Hie Excellency blic Governor had been pleased to revoke the commission appointing Dr. j. Giles, 1..M., and Dr. Hassell to inquire into the charges against Dr. Collins brought by Miss Arnaboldi. The writer further stated thab Sir G. M. O'Rorke and Baron Yon Mirbach, M. D., had been appointed commissioners to conduct the inquiry. A letter was also read from the secretary to the Commissioners stating bhab the inquiry would commence ab 11 o'clock on Tuesday, bhe 10th instant. Tho Chairman said, thab meanb thab bhe Commissioners would require to be paid and the affair would cost over £100. Mr Udy said he did nob see bhab bhe Board were liable, as they had nob agreed bo bhis Commission. Mr Mays said he only hoped bhese Commissioners would not allow bhemselves bo be insulted. Mr Dignan said bhab he did nob think they could sbring on bhe inquiry to the next sitting of Parliamenb. The letter was received.
