The brigantine Zephyr left Tairua on s__.-'*rday for Newcastle, laden with 105,600 iff ■ kauri timber. £. t the Queen -street Wharf the s.s. Waiuui was loading up to-day for Tonga aud Samoa, whither she sails to-morrow Bvening. The Norwegian barque Prospect cleared to-day for New York direct. She takes a tull cargo of flax, kauri gum, and some manganese. Messrs L. D. Nathan and Co. advise us that the R.M.s. Coptic, due at Wellington from Home on the 9th of March, will transship her Auckland cargo and passengers at that port. Capfc. J. Skinner brought his smart little .casting schooner Gisborne into port early tikis morning from the East Coast, with a full cargo of maize, bones, grass-seed, fungus, etc. She is discharging at the Queen-street Wharf. She had a fairly good trip since leaving Gisborne, and worked all ..!•_. usual East Cape porta of call.
