SHIP ON FIRE.

VESSEL GUTTED AT PERTH.

Perth (W.A.), this day. The Eritish iron barque Thornliebank, 1,405 tons, which arrived at Perth on January 24th from Middlesborough, iaden with railway iron, caught tire here. Before the fire could be got under control, the vessel was completely gutted. The origin of the fire is unknown. It is believed to have commenced in the lazarette.
