NORTHCOTE PRESBYTERIANS.
Thkre was a good attendance at the Northcoto Hall lasb night, when the Northcobe Presbyterian congregation mefe for bheir annual meeting. Tho ladies presided at the well-patronised tea-tables, and at the meeting after the Rev. Mr Macniool took the chair.
The annual report, of a mosb satisfactory character, was read by Mr Rushbrook. Thanks were tendered to the Reve. Seotb - West, Carrick, Neal, and Walters for preaching, and also to Mr MacNicol, who had exchanged with Mr Marshall for a few weeks. Thanks and eulogies were also due to Pitt-street Free Methodist choir, Burns Club, and several others who had helped bhem. The good effect of ladies on the Committee was touched on, and some interesting statements made about the church attendance and the Sunday-school under Mr Marshall. The financial condition of the church is highly satisfactory, for in addition to the paying of current expenses, enough bad been raised to clear off certain outstanding: debts. Thanks were tendered to Mr Button for presiding at the organ. The balance - sheet showed recepts £119 8s lid, the expenditure about equal to that, the balance being a credit one of £1 13s Bd. The following resolubion was passed:—"Thab bhis meebing gratefully records its high appreciation of the successful effotts made by tbe ladies' committee in connection with the church building fund, and respectfully suggesbs bhat they take into consideration the propriety of re-commencing the working meetings ab an early date." The Rev. Scotb West gave a shorb address, Miss Walters and Mr Menzies sang, Mr Button playing accompaniments.
