THE PERSIAN EMPIRE.
The s.s. Wakatipu, which arrived at Wellington yesterday from Sydney, reported that on Sunday last, off the Australian Coast, she spoke the British ship Persian Empire, Captain Hay, bound to Auckland from London. The Empire is now 94 days out from Home for this port.
