o That Australians generally are not slow to recognise a genuinely good article —whatever form it may take—is a fairly wellestablished fact. Nor does it redound less to their credit that whenever special merit is perceived by them they are no slower in freely acknowledging it, and giving it such support as may lay in their power. The Waterbury Watch Company receive from day to day dozens of testimonials from wearers of their watches it all parts of the colonies—a fact very gratifying to their endeavours to place reliable timekeepers at a price within the reach of all. The following are samples recently received : Mr Thomas G. McGuire writes from Nyngan : "I am well pleased with the Waterbury as a good, cheap watch, costing very little (or repair. If I had taken as much care of the Waterbury aa I have taken over other watches, it would not have had to be repaired so soon. However, it has acted admirably under the circumstances, and pleased me very much." Chas. J. Horstoy, Esq., J.P., C.P.S., Mudgee, writes: •• I have much pleasure in stating that my Waterbury watch is, without exception, one. of the best watches I have ever owned, although I have had many more expensive. It is a reliable and excellent time-keeper."
