Late Sporting.

The yearlings purchased by Messrs O'Brien, Butler and Stead ab bhe Wellington and Sylvia Park sales were shipped to Christchurch this afternoon. From the Manukau were also shipped the brood mares Perfume, Atlantis, Miss Laura, and Atlanba, together with four yearlings bought by Messrs Goodson and A. Tonks (Hawera) and F. Watson (New Plymouth).

The death of the stallion Eros (by Anteros —Naiad) is reported from Avondale.

J. B. Williamson has sold bheNordenfeldb —Yabtacy filly that he purchased at the Mount Wellington sale to Mr Goodson of Hawera, at an advance of 20 guineas. Mr Goodson has also purchased two of the yearlings passed in at Mr C. Redwood's sale.
