The Railway Strike
RIOTERS IMPRISONED.
TRADE PARALYSED,
London, January 6.
= The strikers evicted from Motherly ell have indulged in rioting. The police charged them, and the military fired blank cartridges at them.
The shops at Blantyre, a few miles off* were sacked.
London, January 7.
A number ot the riotous railway hands on strike have been imprisoned.
The local trade of Coatbridge, where the second riot occurred, is paralysed. The factories have been stopped .through want of coal.
Burns asserts that the men are win ning.
