Mrs Bryant eaid she was near her residence. She saw the defendant upon the day named. He had firearms with him. He fired off his gun near her cow shed, where her children were playing. When he fired the shot he killed a fowl of hers, and when she complained of hie conduct he said he would shoot her.— Mrs Emma Pemberton heard the defendant say (after he had killed the fowl) that he would shoot Mrs Bryant.—William Rogers, a young boy, deposed that defendant asked him to carry the gun home for him, and he fired it off so it should not; be dangerous to him. —After hearing further evidence for the defence the ease was dismissed.

Peggy. Keys.—Claim, 10e. —In this case Mr W. R. Franklin appeared for the defendant, and at once raised the question of jurisdiction of the Court, as the case was a question of title of land.—The defendant, ib seems, had built a small shed upon the plaintiff's allotment, and the claim was now made for 10s damages t The obstruction has, however, been lately removed. —The plaintiff gave evidence as to his fencing his lot, but could not swear that he had fenced according to the pegs laid by the original surveyors.—Mr Keys, the defendant, swore that the small building now said to be an obstruction was built five years ago. It has not been altered since it was put up, and \the plaintiff having been on unfriendly terms lately, hence the summons. The R.M, and the J.P.s went down to the disputed ground, carefully examined the alleged obstruction, and on return to the Court gave judgment for defendant with costs against plaintiff.
