His Worship the Mayor, Mr J. H. Upton, is in receipt of information thab the Australian squadron, with Admiral Charles and Lady Scott, will arrive here shortly, and remain at Auckland during the summer. His Excellency r,he Governor offered the Admiral Govermenb House, when ho himself ie not here, for hie sole occupation, as Admiralby House is nob in a good state of repair. Lord Onelow also invited the Admiral and Lady Scott to be guosta aft Government House while bo is in Auckland,or, in the evenb of their profarriup a house for themielve*, he has asked Mr Upton to make certain inquiries with a view to meet tbeir wisbee in this respect, and it is probable the Admiral and Lady Scobt will occupy Mr Nathan's house in Waterloo Quadrant. Lord Onslow and Lady Onelow and family will also arrive in Auckland shortly—after Hist Excellency baa paid a visiO to the Urewora country—and Trill roinairi here until tho new Parliament is about to assemble, probably early in April. _
