In pursuance of "The Regulation of Elections Act. 1881," and "The Electoral Acta Amendment Act. 1890," I, Thomas Seaman, Returning Oiticer for the Meetoral District of Waltcmata, do hereby give notice that, by virtue of a Writ bearing date the Fifth Day of November, 1890. under tho hand of the Clork of Writa, an Election will be held for the return of a Qualified person to serve as a, Member for the said Electoral District; and that the Pol), if necessary, will be taken at the several polling places of the said district on the fifth day Of DECEMBER, 1890. Every person desirous of becoming a Candidate must bo nominated by not less than two elector* of tho district by a nomination paper, as prescribed by section five of the Amendment Act deliveied to the Returning Officer on or bofore the 27th day of NOVEMBER, 1890, and a deposit of ten pounds, as required by Clause Seven of the same Act, must accompany each Candidate's consent.
