WATERBURY WATCHES AT THE WORLD'S FAIR.
IN THE ENEMY'S CAMP.
Mb D. Young, of London, who is manager of the Watorbory Watch Company's exhibit, informed me that he is selling on an average 500 watches a day in the indusfcrial section of the Children's Palace, where the Waterbury is also on display ; and I was informed at the Waterbury headquarters, in the Rue Montraartrc, where a store for tho ealo of Waterbury Watches exclusively has been opened for some time, that tho watch is much liked by the French people, and the sales are rapidly increusing. —-CHAMBBBIiYNK, in the MANUFACTURING Jewkller. NOTE.—Tho local agents of tho Waterbury Watch Co. desire to draw tho attention of would-be, purchase™ of genuine Watorbury watches to tho fact that the word "Waterbury" in sraa'l letters, and also tho intorwoven letters " W. W. C 0.," appoar upon the dial faco of every watch manufactured by the above-named Company. This caution is, unfortunately, rendered necessary from the fact that it has come under notice that numerous peisons have (much to their disgust) been deceived into buying watches as Waterburys, which wero no more Watorbury watches than tho moon is green choeeo. The agents of tho Compart} will bo to havo any future caeeß of such imposition promptly brought under their notice.
