THE TAUPO.
The Union Company's s.s. Tnupo, tons, Captain Cameron, which took a of coal hence to Fiji lately, returned to port ab 10 o'clock last nighb from Fiji, bringing a large cargo of sugar, bananas, etc. She was discharging at the ' Queen-street Wharf to-day, and will pat out her raw sugar at the Chelsea Sugarworks Wharf. The sbeamer had a favourable run down to Fiji, and after digcharging her coal at Laucala Bay, Navua and Suva, she took in sugar ab the Cpa?t Mills, and left Suva again for Auckland on the 7th instant, at 4.30 p.m. At midnight on the Bth Bbc exchanged signals with the s.b. Maori, bound hence to Suva. „ The Taupo had fine, weather all the way'up from Fiji. She is to be kept in the Fiji trade, and leaves here again for Suva to-morrow evening.
