CRICKET.
Owing to the unfavourable weather Ias(! Saturday the Cup cricket matches begun on Novembur Ist had to be postponed. Tomorrow afte moon they will be continued. Auckland and United Firsts are engaged in a very interesting match ; St. Mary's play Parnell with the odds somewhat in favour of the latter, and Gordon continue their innings against Alpha. Then there are the Junior Cup matches between Gordon 11, and Ponsonby, Grammar School and Auckland, Wanderers and Alpha 11. ; and the Second Junior Matches are : Stab v. Victoria,Belmont v. Educational Chambers, and Queen's College v. Mount Roskiil. On the whole, then, a very pleasant afternoon's fun can be got by anyone visiting the Domain. The following: ia the Ponsonby team to play against Gordon 11. for to-morrow afternoon : —Pritchard, Mackie, Leathare, Graham (2), Buchan, Service, Smith, Fielder, and Thonason.
