The parishes and parochial districts contributed £295, the Home Mission Society £125, and Bishop Selwyn gave a special donation of £100. The reporb gives a long lisb of country sebblementa which have been visited by the missionary clergy, and concludes with the following words:—" From the above it will be seen thab there are a very largo number of districts that are regularly visifcedj somo being under the care of a resident minister, and the rest abtended to by tbe Diocesan Missionary or his assistants. The covering this large area so thab all our people may receive tho ministrations of our Church, involves much labour and self-sacrifice on the part of those engaged. The Committee would therefore urge all churchmen throughout bhe diocese to*do their utmost to provide in a systematic wav the funds necessary to carry out efficiently the work of the Home Mission.— W. The churchmen of Auckland will tomorrow have the opportunity of showing their sympathy with the work, and their desire to assisb in carrying the ministrations of their church to all parts of the diocese.
