PARNELL.
A numerously-abtended meeting of Mr J M. Lennox's Committee and friends was held in the Odd Fellows Hall, Parnell, last night. Mr Roberts presided. The candidate, before .the business commenced, made some few remarks which elicited applause. In reply to Councillor Savage, the candidate stated ib was his intention to give a public address in Parnell. Good progress with routine roll work was made, after which the Committee adjourned until next Wednesday evening ab half-past eeven o'clock at the same place.
