MINE MANAGERS' REPORTS.
Try Fluke. —No. 3 stope south is now in fifteen foot. Tho roef is live foeb in widbh, and is of quality equal to that taken from overhead, right into the floor. Tho quartz left in bhe face of No. 2 stope is as good as any hitherto met with. In No. 3 stopo north end tho reef prospecbs tho same as usual. In the low level going south bhe reef is nine feeb wide and prospects very well. Two-tbhds of this ore is treated ab the battery as broken out. The returns from the battery for this week are 2830z of retorted gold obtained from plates. Tho boxes have not beon touched. About 80 tons of quartz were crushed. Carbine.—The leading stope over tho drive has yielded good crushing stuff during the week. The reef in the low level looks promising enough bo warrant tho belief that a strong body of payable ore will shortly be met with. In tho upper lovol there has been a falling off in the quality of tho ore, and there is reason to believe that the face of tho drive is now past bhe shot of gold, A commencement has therefore been made to sink deeper on the run of payable'ground.
