ELLERSLIE NOTES.
The web weather has interfered with, training op.ra.ions at Ellerslie,* bub a number of horses are pottering about in the middle of the course. The two-year-olds in charge of Harry Harrison, J. B. "Williamson aud G.orge Hope continue to progress satisfactorily. Yesterday morning bhe Captivator—Madcap colb, under the caro of fche"last-named trainer, was spurted* with Fishmonger, and shaped well.. Orestea, the Nordenfeldb—Clytemnesbra-: colt,, is.,fu^ j>t_ promise, and the daily attendants at tne'course all have a good word for him. Major George's New Zealand Cup candidate Reprisal is'looking well.
