'» ■ (BY TELEGBArH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.) Invercargiix, this day. Mb Elliott, of illicit still notoriety, has been further remanded for a week on the Invercarsill charge. Prisoner is being detained in Dunedin on another charge. Hβ did not appear, and the counsel applied .to have tho information dismissed, contending he could not be remanded in his absence. The Bench over-ruled tho point, as prisoner was represented by counsel.
