THE REASON WHY!

Mr Eugene Marohand, of St. Jerome, Que., July 28th, 1889, writes :—" Last week I met a gentleman from Springfield, and I noticed that he carried a fine gold watch in one pockeb and a Waterbury in the other. I asked him why. He said he kept the Waterbury to see if his other watch ran well, and he was in earnest, for he worked in a mill where they had dynamos, and they played the dickens with tho gold watch, while the Waterbury kept ticking as regularly as ever.

The faithful WaterJbury may be obtained from any respectable storekeeper. Price: Series E, 13s 6d; series Jor L, 20s.
