The Australian Floods.
THE WATERS PREVAIL. BOURKE INUNDATED.. WORK OF RESCUE PROCEEDING. Sydney, lasb nighb. Information received to-night state s that Bourke is flooded, and that every one is doing the best to save himself. Boats are being pulled through the streets, rescuing people from their homes. t The night is very dark and black. The value of property at stake is estimated at one million sterling. Walgett is in a terrible condition, and an epidemic of fever is feared owing to the stench arising from dead animals.
