REPORTED PORTUGUESE EXPEDITION.

London, April 15. Replying to questions in the House of Commons, Sir James Fergusson stated that th 6 authorities at Lisbon had* received no intimation of the proposed expedition against M'Ponda, in the Shite district, but that if it were ascertained that such an attack was contemplated, immediate orders would be issued, directing that the expedition should be abandoned. I The Delagoa railway dispute is still unsettled. A telegram from Delagoa Bay confirms the news of a Portuguese expedition 1,200 strong being despatched to M'Pdnda.
