Thames, this day. Wiiau.—Hicks and parby, tributers, who have a block of ground on the Success reef from the battery level upwards, have crushed 801b specimens for the splendid yield S7oz gold! They only commenced work four weeks ago. Caledonian.—The appointment of Mr James Coutbs bo bhe management of tins mine has given universal satisfaction. He takes charge on Saturday, when several new prospecting works will probably be commenced.
Lone Hand.—Dabs and colours of gold were again freely seen through bhe quartz to-day when breaking down the Manchester reef in winze, which is down 13ffc.
