THE STEAMER TEKAPO.

After a protracted passage of 5$ days from Sydney, a rather long trip for one of the Union S.S. Company's steamers, the well-known Tekapo, Captain George Allman, berthed at the Queen-streeb Wharf at 7 o'clock this morning, bringing somewhat over a hundred passengers of both classes. Mr Petherbridge, purser, favours us with late Sydney files. The steamer "left the Sydney Wharf at 8.30 p.m. on the 28th ult., rounded the North Cape yesterday, and arrived this morning. She had variable winds and fine weather across. She brings for Auckland five hundred tons of general cargo, and for the South aboub fifty tons. She leaves at midnight to-night for Gisborne and Southern ports.
