EGMONT RACES.
The Egmoqt Racing Club Meeting comes off on Thursday and Friday next. Special inducements to journey down are offered to Aucklanders by the Northern Steamship Company, who ore issuing a through return ticket (including rail fare) for £2 10s. Nine horses are left in the Cup, and unless Recluse is thoroughly well, Patchwork should take a lot of beating.
