Messrs Alfred Buckland and Sons Weekly REroKT.—At the Haymarkct, during the past week, the sa'es of fodder have been nominal. Meadow hay, la 6d to 2s; oaten sheaves, up to 2s 6d the cwt; oats, 2s 4d; maize, 2s 9d bushel were the ruling prices. At the horse sale on Friday, above the usual number were sold. Heavy draught and strong farm horses ranged from £5 10a to £16 10s; useful rifling arid light harness horses from £310s to £8. On Tuesday hides and skins were in increased numbers and full values. Sound ox hides brought from 3:Jd to 4Jd; cow hides, 2d to 2Jd; calf skin 3, 3i'd to 4id the lb; bones, 4s 6d : tallow, 16s nnd 19s 3d the cwt; lamb.' skins, Is 6d to 2s ; butchers' woolled skins, ?.a 8d to 6a 8d ; pelts. lOd tols4d each; numerous lots of wool in bags, from 6d to 9d ; locks and pieces, from 3Jd to 5d tho lb. At Remuera, on Thursday, good dairy cows were required; prices ranged from &.'£ 5s to £4 10s each. Store cattle in usual number were better worth than last week fully 5s each. Fat cattle in full number were steady at last week's quotations. Steers, 13s to 15s ; cows, 10s to 12s the 1001b. Sheep, in short supply, were better worth Is each. Hoggets brought 9s; aged wethers, 13s each; ewes. 7s to 10s. Well-fatted lambs were also bettor worth, but there was no improvement in middling quality. Pigs yarded were qui6t, and of good quality, and sold satisfactorily.

A good many were submitted by auction at the Durham Yards on Friday. Bidding was brisk at the commencement of the sale for all descriptions, and continued so for tho3o of a good stamp throughout. We quote hacks at from £5 10s to £14; light harness, from £5 12s 6d to £13 bs; draught, from £7 to £15. Wool, hides and skins, tallow, etc.: The supply at the Durham Yards was anaverageone, andthedomand for all descriptions was brisk. Cross-bred wool in bagrs realised B_d per lb; longwool, 7_d. Hides were keenly competed for. Ox sold at from 3d to 4Jd per lb : cow, from 2d to 2_d; calfskins, perlb ; sheepskins, 3s Ud to6s Id each ; pelts, 8d to Is each ; lambskins, Is 2d to Is 9d each. Tallow, £21 per ton. Cattle: A steady demand has existed, at the previous wcok s values, and average numbers have been brought forward, and found purchasers. There was an average muster at Newmarket on Tuesday, and rather ti large one at Papakura on Wednesday. Competition for dairy stock and stores was keenest at the latter market, and although the previous WecK's rates wero maintained, they were in favour of tho purchaser. Ox beef sold at from 12s to 16s per 1091b; cow, lis to lis. Sheep: There was an average muster at Newmarket. Competition was brisker than on the previous week. Wethers sold at from 9s 3d to 13s 9d; ewes, Ss 9d to lis 3d. Lambs were plentiful, and sold at from 6s 6d to 9s each. Pigs: A moderate number wore yarded. Prices for large pigs were low, but were relatively higher for porkers and yonng pigs; Prices ranged from 2d to 2Jd per IB live weight. Messrs G. W: Binney and Sons' Report, —On Tuesday we cleared a fair catalogue of hides, sheeplkins, tallow, and wool, at good values. Heavy stout ox met with ready sale, from 4id to 4id: heavy, 4d: medium, 3d to 3M ; steer hides, 2}d; cow, 2id to 3Jd; wet, 2d; damaged, id to ljd per lb ; calfskins, 3d to 4sd; sheepskins, best, 5b 9d to 63; ordinary, 4s 6d to os; _ry skins, 6d per lb; tallow, medium, 16s to 18s per cwt: bones, 4s 6d per cwt; shanks, £5 per cwt; wool, bags, and dumps, sold at values equal to tho last salo.
