London, October 15. Lord Brassey, at a dinner given by the City Liberal Club, upheld Unionism and eulogised the dockmen who recently went out on strike.

Mr Sydney Buxton, Liberal member for Tower Hamlets Poplar, also spoke on the subject of the dock strike, and condemned the action of Mr Honwood, chairman of the dock committee, EXAGGERATED REPORT.
