■ ■ . Wellington, this day. Dr. Skey has received some Bilrer ore from Marototo. The pieces are only small, but the analysis gives astonishing results. In one instance the proportion is at the rate of 75 ounces of gold and 3,298 ounces of silver to the ton, and in another 55 ounces of gold and 45 ounces silver. The exact nature of the ore is being further investigated. The specimens will be sent to the Dunedin Exhibition.
