{Before" Dr. 7 DEFENDED CASE. McCOLLOUGH AND Co. V. J. DICKBY and J. . McCabe.' — This was a claim for £41 8a Id for printing, etc. — Mr E. W. Burton appeared for the plaintiff Company, Mr Theo. Cooper for defendant McCabe, and Mr, A. Whitaker' for the other defendant.— The statement of claim alleged that* the defendants were, at the time the debt was incurred, members of a Racing and Coursing Club called the Plumpton Park Jockey Club. This club was also called at various times Auckland Coursing --Club, Plumpton Park Coursing Club, The Auckland Plumpton Park Coursing Club, The Plumpton Park Club, Auckland, Plumpton Park Club, Auckland Plumpton Park Coursing Club, and the Auckland Coursing Club, Plumpton Park. . The defence was that defendants : were merely directors of the Auckland I Plumpton Park Club, and as it was limited I liability they were not personally re- ! sponsible.—Evidence as to the debt was ■ given by Mr Wylie, accountant to plaintiff, I The case was adjourned to next Thursday, i in consequence of Mr Cooper being engaged '■ in the Supreme Court this afternoon.
